The report presents a history of site work, monitoring well sounding data, and <br /> laboratory analytical results for groundwater samples collected on October 29, 1996, <br /> Site Setting <br /> The property is located at 6649 Embarcadero Drive in Stockton, San Joaquin County, and is <br /> situated on the delta levee of the section of the San Joaquin River called Fourteen-Mile Slough as <br /> shown on the Site Vicinity Map,Figure 1. The site includes a restaurant and an operational marina <br /> with the capacity to dispense fuel to pleasure craft. The adjacent properties consist of other <br /> commercial businesses and condominium residences. <br /> Geologic Setting <br /> t , The site is located within the delta region of the San Joaquin River on Fourteen-Mile Slough. The <br /> surface elevation is about nine feet above Mean Sea Level (MSL). The slough is situated <br /> immediately to the west of the project area. <br /> The lithology encountered during the drilling of soil borings and HydropunchesT (prior to <br /> <r; completion as monitoring wells MW4 through MW-8) consisted predominantly of black-gray, <br /> micaceous, organic, clayey silt to the total depth m each well of approximately 30 feet below <br /> surface grade(bsg).
