- SUMMARY
Groundwater was sounded at an average depth of 15.77 feet below the tops of the well casings
(see Table 2). The average depth-to-water in the wells has increased 2.59 feet since March 18,
1996 when the average depth-to-water was 13.18 feet. The local groundwater flow direction on
July 11, 1996 was S90°E (due east) along a gradient of 0.012. Between March 18 and July 11,
the flow direction has shifted 2°to the east.
The sample collected from monitoring well MW-6 exhibited 960 of TPH- and 110 of
t P g µ g µ
benzene. TPH-g and benzene concentrations have declined since March 18, 1996. Only benzene
exceeds the MCL assigned by the California Department of Health Services. TPH g and BTEX
were not detected in samples collected from monitoring wells MW-7 and MW-8. Sampling was
- not required for monitoring wells MW4 and MW-5.
The ground-water monitoring activity for the fourth quarter is scheduled for October, 1996.
As a courtesy,Horizon will forward two copies of this report to:
Mr. Steve Sasson
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Environmental Health Division
P.O.
