r PROJECT STATUS REPORT OF GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> 'l> THIIZD QUARTER- 1996 <br /> Village West Marina <br /> 6649 Embarcadero Drive <br /> i- Stockton,California 95209 <br /> - <br /> -a INTRODUCTION <br /> This Project Status Report of Groundwater Monitoring was conducted in accordance with the <br /> directives of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division <br /> (SICPHS-EHD). The report presents a history of site work, monitoring well sounding data, and <br /> laboratory analytical results for groundwater samples collected on July 11, 1996. <br /> Site Setting <br /> The property is located at 6649 Embarcadero Drive in Stockton, San Joaquin County, and is <br /> situated on the delta levee of the section of the San Joaquin River called Fourteen-Mile Slough as <br /> shown on the Site Vicinity Map, Figure 1. The site includes a restaurant and an operational <br /> marina with the capacity to dispense fuel to pleasure craft. The adjacent properties consist of <br /> other commercial businesses and condominium residences. <br /> Geologic Setting <br /> The site is located within the delta region of the San Joaquin River on Fourteen We Slough. The <br /> surface elevation is about nine feet above Mean Sea Level (MSL). The slough is situated <br /> immediately to the west of the project area. <br /> The lithology encountered during the drilling of soil borings and Hydropunchegm (prior to <br /> -= completion as monitoring wells MW-4 through MW-S) consisted predominantly of black-gray, <br /> micaceous, organic, clayey silt to the total depth in each well of approximately 30 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg).
