i .s.� SITE SAFETY <br /> Prior to initiation of any field work, a site-specific health and safety plan will be prepared in <br /> accordance with OSHA regulations. The health and safety plan will outline measures for the <br /> protection of workers, the public, and the environment. Field personnel will be required to read <br /> and sign the plan prior to the commencement of any work. <br /> rSCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES <br /> In-situ respiration testing operation and final engineering design of the remediation system could <br /> begin upon final approval of this workplan. Permitting through various agencies will require <br /> approximately 30 days at a minimum. Equipment installation and construction activities are <br /> estimated to be completed in four to six weeks, once initiated. <br /> The duration of the systems' operation depends on a variety of factors. A more precise estimate <br /> can be provided following evaluation of the operating data. The duration of ground-water <br /> `. rernediation activities is also dependent on a variety of factors, including the duration of soil <br /> remediation activities. <br /> This document has been prepared with the assistance of the engineering staff assigned to the <br /> Temecula, California office of W.W.
