�w <br /> PROJECT STATUS REPORT OF GROUND-WATER MONITORING <br /> Village West Marina <br /> =' 6649 Embarcadero Drive <br /> Stockton, California 95209 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This Proiect Status Report of Ground-Water Monitoring was conducted in accordance with the <br /> directives of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division. <br /> It includes an overall history of site work and laboratory analytical results for soil and ground- <br /> water samples collected on October 18, 1995. <br /> Site Setting <br /> The property is located at 6649 Embarcadero Drive in Stockton, San Joaquin County, and is <br /> '-_ situated on the delta levee of the section of the San Joaquin River called Fourteen-Mile Slough <br /> as shown on the Vicinity Map, Figure 1. The site includes a restaurant and an operational <br /> marina with the capacity to dispense fuel to pleasure craft. The adjacent properties consist of <br /> other commercial businesses and residences. <br /> Geologic Setting <br /> The site is located within the delta region of the San Joaquin River on Fourteen-Mile Slough. <br /> 1 The surface elevation is about nine feet above Mean Sea Level (AMSL). The slough is situated <br /> adjacent to the project area at an elevation below the former underground storage tank invert. <br /> The lithology encountered during the drilling of soil borings and Hydropunches' (prior to <br /> completion as monitoring wells MW-4 through MW-8) consisted predominantly of black-gray, <br /> micaceous, organic, clayey silt to the total depth in each well of approximately 30 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg). Ground water was encountered in the five, on-site monitoring wells during <br /> the October 18, 1995 monitoring activity at an average depth of 15.63 feet below the tops of the <br /> }} well casings. Generally, the quality of the water is considered poor. <br /> _a <br /> HISTORY OF SITE WORK <br /> s <br /> -' Initial UST Removal and Sampling Activities <br /> On April 21 1993 two 10,000-gallon capacity, leaded gasoline underground storage tanks and <br /> one 5,000-gallon capacity, diesel underground storage tank (USTs) were removed from the <br /> subject site. Evax Technologies, Inc. inspected the tanks and collected soil samples from beneath <br /> W.W.lmim Inc. <br /> -- Project No.33016.06 <br /> f October 1995 <br />
