Murphy Trucking) j <br /> 355 Enterprise Place, Tracy, California <br />{ <br /> Dear Ms. McCartney: <br /> At the request of Mr. Monty Warren,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared this <br /> report for the destruction of five ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-5) and one <br /> ground water extraction well (EW-1) at 355 Enterprise Plade, Tracy, California (site). The site <br /> location is depicted on Figure 1; site structures and former monitoring well locations are depicted <br /> on Figure 2. <br /> i <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> i <br /> Five single completed two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-5) <br /> and one single completed six-inch diameter ground water extraction well(EW-1)had been installed <br /> as part of a subsurface investigation of the former underground!storage tanks(UST)areas at the site. <br /> Monitoring wells MW-1,MW-3 through MW-5 and extraction well EW-1 were installed to depths <br /> of 20 feet below surface grade(bsg); monitoring well MW-2 was installed to a depth of 35 feet bsg. <br /> A San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)-prepared letter dated 10 September <br /> 2008 stipulated monitoring and extraction wells be destroyed before final closure at the site would <br /> be granted. Each well required a destruction permit from San EJoaquin County. <br /> 3 <br /> S <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Well destruction activities were performed on 22 December,2008 by All Well Abandonment of <br /> Placerville, California.
