27 January 2004
AGE-NC Project No. 97-0360
2002, 13 August 2002, 19 November 2002, 21 March 2003, 30 May 2003, and 14 August 2003.
During this time, dq, the to ground water from wells MW-1 through MW-5 and EW-1 were
measured between 6. 7 feet to 9.55 feet below the tops of the well casings. Generally, ground water
elevations at the site have fluctuated slightly, approximately 1 to 2 feet. Ground water monitoring
data indicated a ground water flow direction generally toward the north to northwest at gradients
between 0.002 ft/ft and 0.0006 ft/ft(Figures 4 through 10). Due to the low gradient at the site, slight
variations in ground water measurements or changes of recharge/discharge of the local ground water
could greatly modify the inferred ground water flow direction. Ground water elevation data is
summarized on Table 4.
During the seven quarterly ground water monitoring events,TPH-g was detected in the ground water
samples collected from wells MW-I through MW-5 and EW-1 at concentrations as high as 380 µg/1
(MW-4). TPH-d was detected in ground water samples collected from well EW-1 at concentrations
as high as 920 pg/l. Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized on Table 5.
4.0. WATER WELL RECEPTOR SURVEY
According to Dave Carter of the City of Tracy, drinking water at and near the site is currently
supplied by the City of Tracy, however there are no City of Tracy municipal water wells located
within 2,000 feet ofthe subject property. On 20 November 2000,a representative of AGE performed
an area reconnaissance for visually observable potential receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of the
above referenced site. Four domestic water wells located on South Tracy Boulevard were observed
during the visual search. Additionally, 10 ground water monitoring wells were observed at 4 other
locations. No information could be obtained regarding the domestic water wells located during the
receptor survey.
A summary of all visually observed wells located during the reconnaissance is included in Table 6
and Figure 3.
_ On 16 November 2000, a representative of AGE conducted a search at the California Department
of Water Resources of well drillers reports for water wells located in the surrounding area. Drillers
reports for ground water monitoring wells located within a 2000-foot radius were found for the
following:
• 1 ground water monitoring well located at 4110 Industrial Way, Tracy, California.
3 ground water monitoring wells located at 425 Larch Road, Tracy, California.
Advanced GeoEnvironmcntal,Inc.
