INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr. Monty Warren of Enterprise Investments,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for 355 Enterprise Place,Tracy, California(site). The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1.Structures,borings,and well locations are illustrated ='a on Figure 2. Site background information is provided in Appendix A. 2.0. PROCEDURES Five ground water monitoring wells(MW-1 through MW-5) and one ground water extraction well =, (EW-1)were monitored and sampled on 10 February 2005.Fieldwork was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites. J '2.1. WELL MONITORING AND PURGING ! i ` - A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in wells MW-1 through MW-5 and EW-1 relative to the tops of the well casings. The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from this data(Table 1). After recording water level measurements,disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW-1 j through MW-5 of standing water;a Waterra inertial pump was used to purge well EW-1 of standing water.Approximately 4 to 4.5 gallons of water(a minimum of three casing water volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3, MW-4, and MW-5, approximately 11 gallons of water ! were removed from well MW-2, and approximately 40 gallons of water were removed from well EW-1. Ground water temperature, pH, and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer.Purged ground water was containerized in properly labeled, Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site.Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B. 2.2. COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES Water samples were collected from purged wells MW-1 through MW-5 using dedicated disposable plastic bailers and the sample collected from well EW-I was collected with a hose bailer after { allowing all wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume. Each water sample was transferred into three 40-milliliter(ml)volatile organic analysis(VOA)vials containing 0.5 ml 18%hydrochloric acid solution as a sample preservative, and into one 1-liter amber bottle Advanced GeoEnvironmenfal,Inc. i.
