Box 1219 ENVIR`
Lathrop, CA 95330 PERfvi
REQUEST FOR REPORT OF WASTE DISCHARGE, CALIFORNIA NATURAL PRODUCTS,
LATHROP, SAN JOA QUIN COUNTY
The Regional Board is in the process of updating California Natural Products' (CNP's) Waste Discharge
Requirements (WDRs). Tentative WDRs were prepared for the 15 March 2001 Regional Board
meeting; however, CNP's 7 March 2001 request to continue the hearing was approved with the
requirement that CNP prepare technical reports to gather more information. In addition, CNP's
Monitoring and Reporting Program was also revised to better characterize wastewater and groundwater
quality.
The technical reports have been prepared, submitted, and additional data has been collected through the
revised MRP. To update the WDRs, CNP must submit an updated Report of Waste Discharge (RWD).
This letter provides you with the form that CNP is required to file with the Regional Board and
information on completing the technical report that is required to describe the remaining issues regarding
the wastewater generation, treatment, and disposal system.
An RWD consists of the Form 200 Application/Report of Waste Discharge General Information
(enclosed) and the answers to the Additional Questions. The RWD shall include a technical report
prepared by a California Registered Engineer. The RWD, at a minimum, shall address the Additional
Questions; it shall also include any additional information required to explain the site specific processes
or changes to previous RWD submittals.
Because CNP already pays an annual fee,no additional fee is required with the RAID. By 30 November
2001,please complete and return the Form 200 and all supporting information to this office so that we
may initiate the WDR process. If you have any questions about this request, please telephone me at
(916)255-3116.
TIMOTH R.
