Christine Lawrence
From: Christine Lawrence
Sent: Tuesday, August 13, 2019 8:48 AM
To: 'R and J Dondero Inc'
Cc: 'Gary Reeves'
Subject: RE: Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act for CERS ID 10401052 Accepted By Regulator
Good morning Cindy,
The CERS facility information submittal was accepted. However, in order to close the violations for the hazardous
materials business plan inspection I still need the following:
1) Address all required elements on the site map and upload to CERS. If an element does not apply to your facility,
list that element and "N/A".
2) Complete the emergency response plan and upload to CERS. Certain required items are missing from the current
emergency response plan uploaded to CERS, see the CERS submittal regulator comments for more details.
3) Documented training in hazardous materials and emergency response procedures. List topics of training, date of
training, and names of people who are trained.
4) Completed Return to Compliance certification (found at the back of the report)
For the hazardous waste inspection:
1) Make a hazardous waste determination on the metal shavings and the oily absorbent. Let me know how these
waste will be handled. Hazardous? Non-hazardous? How did you come to that determination? How will they be
disposed?
2) Conduct training in hazardous waste management
3) Remove oil from the spill pallets in the oil storage area. Submit proof(photo is good) and let me know how the
oil was handled. How was it cleaned and where was it disposed?
4) Label the used oil tank and submit proof(photo is good)
5) Complete Return to Compliance certification.
Please submit proof of corrections to violations by photo, statement, or documentation along with the Return to
Compliance certifications to me by September 5, 2019. As always if you have any questions, please call me at (209) 468-
3562.
Have a great day,
Christine Lawrence
From: R and J Dondero Inc<rjdonderoinc@msn.com>
Sent:Tuesday, August 13, 2019 8:32 AM
To: Christine Lawrence<clawrence@sjgov.org>
Subject: Fw:Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act for CERS ID 10401052 Accepted By Regulator
Hi again,
I see that 2 were not accepted, but 2 were. I have forwarded these to Gary Reeves to take care of. I also
spoke with him about doing the training and he is going to get that scheduled. I will let you know as soon as
that is done. The guys put the sticker on the oil recycler, and are supposed to take a picture so I can send it on
to you.
Thanks,
i
