WRITTEN MONITORING AND RESPONSE PLAN <br />UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br />This monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at all times. The information on this monitoring program are <br />conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify Environmental Health Department, (209) 468-3420 within 30 <br />days of any changes to the monitoring procedures, unless required to obtain approval or a permit before making the change. <br />Required by CCR 2632 (d) and 2641 (h). <br />FACILITY NAME 7 -Eleven #19976 DATE 7/7/03 <br />FACILITY ADDRESS 1399 North Main Street, Manteca, CA <br />1.Name(s) and Title(s) of the people responsible for performing the monitoring and/or maintenance <br />The store operator is responsible for performing the monitoring. <br />Sacramento Maintenance and Equipment performs the maintenance on the equipment <br />2.Describe the frequency of performing the monitoring for: <br />TANKS Continuous interstitial monitoring PIPING Continuous sump monitoring <br />3.Describe the location(s) of where the monitoring will be performed. ie: location of sensors <br />The interstitial sensors for the tanks are located in the interstitial spaces at the end of each tank. The piping <br />sensors are located in each tank's turbine sumo. <br />4.Describe the following equipment for each underground storage tank. <br />Name and Model of Monitoring Panel <br />Name and Model of Line Leak Detectors <br />Name and Model of Annular Sensors <br />Name and Model of Piping Sensors <br />Name and Model of Dispenser Sensors <br />Type of overfill prevention <br />VeederRoot TLS350 <br />Vaporless LD2000 <br />VeederRoot #794390-420 <br />VeederRoot #794380-352 <br />VeederRoot #794380-208 <br />Emco Wheaton 61 SO <br />5. Do the Turbine Sensors and Dispenser Pan Sensors shut down the turbine? Yes E No ❑ <br />Does the turbine shut down if a sensor is disconnected? Yes ® No ❑ <br />Does the turbine shut down is the monitoring panel loses power? Yes ® No ❑ <br />6. How will the alarm history and subsequent maintenance be recorded? <br />The alarm history will be stored in the VeederRoot Tank Gauge and available via printout. <br />Maintenance records will be recorded on an equipment maintenance log and stored at the site. <br />7.Maintenance of the monitoring equipment must be performed at least once every 12 months. <br />Describe the preventive maintenance schedule and recording for the monitoring equipment. What month will <br />annual monitoring certification be performed in? Maintenance and repair of the equipment is performed as <br />needed. The VeederRoot TLS350 is certified in the month of October. <br />Note: For new installations the secondary containment must be tested 6 months after installation. All secondary containment systems must be <br />tested once every 36 months with initial testing performed before December3l, 2003. <br />8. Describe the training necessary for the operation of UST system, including piping, and the monitoring <br />equipment. Training is provided for new employees. Training refreshers are offered as needed. The operations <br />manual for the equipment was provided to the store operator when the equipment was installed. <br />
