Tolerances or <br />maximum/minimum limits can be obtained from <br />Smith Fibercast. <br />(2) All sizes can accept full vacuum pressures at <br />maximum temperature ratings. <br />(3) Non -UL Listed 6" secondary containment piping is <br />also available from Smith Fibercast. <br />(4) Ultimate and allowable design stresses are <br />based on minimum reinforced wall thickness. Pipe is <br />manufactured in compliance with ASTM D2996. <br />(5) Design bending stress is 1/8 of ultimate to <br />account for combined stress (i.e. bending and <br />pressure). <br />(6) Design stress is based on long term cyclic fatigue <br />aata using ASTM D2992 test method. However, all <br />testing is not complete at time of printing. <br />(7) For RED THREAD IIA pipe the hydrostatic <br />cypiic design stress was determined at 150' and <br />2001. per ASTM D2992 Proceoure A. Based on this <br />data. the extrapolated value at 75-F is 13.030 psi. <br />(8) For RED THREAD IIA pipe the nygrostatic cyclic <br />design stress was determined at 75' and 2007. per <br />ASTM D2992 Procedure A.
