Groundwater occurred at depths of 11 to 12 feet and initially stabilized in some uncased <br /> boreholes at depths of about 8 5 to 9 7 feet Groundwater appears to be unconfined to slightly <br /> confined however boreholes were not open long enough to allow for 24 hours of stabilization for <br /> additional groundwater measurements The inferred groundwater flow direction is northerly <br /> Strata may grade laterally and vertically in the region and is typical San Joaquin Valley sediment <br /> depositional environments The site borehole data indicate that the uppermost shallow aquifer <br /> and underlying aquitard strata have lateral continuity in the area investigated <br /> Physical Analysis <br /> Three selected soil samples that appeared representative of the sedimentological vertical and <br /> lateral gradational deposits were sent to Earthtec Ltd for physical analysis The Iaboratory report <br /> is attached and the results are presented below in Table 1 <br /> Table 1.
