I ' Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Monitoring Report • Former TRACY DINER ' 95 West 11" Street, Tracy, California ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr Joe Panetta, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this ' monitoring well installation and quarterly report for the property located at 95 West I1`h Street, Tracy, California The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structure, boring, and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in ' Appendix A Analytical data for ground water and soil analysis can be found in Tables 2 and 3, respectively 2.0. PROCEDURES ' Two ground water monitoring wells (MW-6 and MW-7) were installed on 27 July 2004 and developed on 05 August 2004 The scope of work was outlined in the AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment Work Plan - August 2003, dated 21 August 2003 and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) in a letter dated 16 September 2003 Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality � . Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND SURVEY On 27 July 2004, two soil borings were advanced at the site for the collection of soil samples and the installation of two ground water monitoring wells (MW-6 and MW-7) The monitoring wells were developed on 05 August 2004, sampled on 09 August 2004, and surveyed on 16 August 2004 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling A CME-75HT truck mounted drill ng was utilized to advance 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers to 20 feet below surface grade (bsg), the total depth of each boring The drill ng and three- man crew were supplied by Mitchell Drilling Environmental of Rancho Cordova,California Auger returns generated by drilling were containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler loaded with two pre-cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from the pilot borings at 5-foot intervals,beginning at 5 feet bsg, using a 140-pound hammer to advance the • sampler The number of blows required to advance the sampler over each 6-inch increment of the 12-inch sampling interval was recorded on the boring logs After sample recovery,both ends of the Advanced GenEnvironmental,Inc I
