I <br />' Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Monitoring Report <br /> • Former TRACY DINER <br />' 95 West 11" Street, Tracy, California <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Joe Panetta, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />' monitoring well installation and quarterly report for the property located at 95 West I1`h Street, <br /> Tracy, California The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structure, boring, and <br /> well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in <br />' Appendix A Analytical data for ground water and soil analysis can be found in Tables 2 and 3, <br /> respectively <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Two ground water monitoring wells (MW-6 and MW-7) were installed on 27 July 2004 and <br /> developed on 05 August 2004 The scope of work was outlined in the AGE-prepared Additional Site <br /> Assessment Work Plan - August 2003, dated 21 August 2003 and approved by the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) in a letter dated 16 September 2003 Field work <br /> was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />� . Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND SURVEY <br /> On 27 July 2004, two soil borings were advanced at the site for the collection of soil samples and <br /> the installation of two ground water monitoring wells (MW-6 and MW-7) The monitoring wells <br /> were developed on 05 August 2004, sampled on 09 August 2004, and surveyed on 16 August 2004 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> A CME-75HT truck mounted drill ng was utilized to advance 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem <br /> augers to 20 feet below surface grade (bsg), the total depth of each boring The drill ng and three- <br /> man crew were supplied by Mitchell Drilling Environmental of Rancho Cordova,California Auger <br /> returns generated by drilling were containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation <br /> (DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br /> loaded with two pre-cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from the <br /> pilot borings at 5-foot intervals,beginning at 5 feet bsg, using a 140-pound hammer to advance the <br /> • sampler The number of blows required to advance the sampler over each 6-inch increment of the <br /> 12-inch sampling interval was recorded on the boring logs After sample recovery,both ends of the <br /> Advanced GenEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
