21 August 2003 <br />AGE -NC Project No 03-1055 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Additional Site Assessment Work Plan - August 2003 <br />Former TRACY DINER <br />95 West 11" Street, Tracy, California <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />At the request of Mr Joe Panetta, Advanced GeoEnvirorimental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />Additional Site Assessment Work Plan- August 2003 for the property at 95 West 11 h Street, Tracy, <br />California (Figure 1) The scope of work includes abandoning and installing monitoring wells, and <br />excavating contaminated soil The work is being performed as required by the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) to assess hydrocarbon -impacted soil and groundwater at <br />the site A site plan is provided on Figure 2 A summary of previous investigations at the site is <br />provided in Appendix A <br />This work plan was prepared as required by the EHD for the procurement of a soil boring permit, <br />and is iii accordance with Appendix A to Tri -Regional Recommendations - Reporting, dated <br />30 August 1991, prepared by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for the <br />investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br />AGE proposes to abandon monitoring wells, excavate contaminated soil, and collect soil samples <br />and install monitoring wells to assess for any remaining contaminants in soil and ground water <br />present beneath the site The additional site assessment will include the following tasks <br />• Permitting and pre -held work activities, <br />• Monitoring well abandonment, <br />• Soil excavation and disposal, <br />• Monitoring wells installation and sampling, and <br />• Report preparation <br />The site assessment tasks are discussed below <br />2 1 PRE -FIELD WORK TASKS <br />• <br />Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />
