INTRODUCTION PERMIT/SERVICES <br />' At the request of Mr Joe Panetta, Advanced Ge o Environmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> � ) <br /> Preliminary Site Assessment Report for the property located at 95 West 11`h Street, Tracy, California <br />' (site) This investigation was conducted as part of real estate transaction on behalf of Mr Joe <br /> Panetta <br />' The required oversight for the investigation was provided by the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) the local lead agency The work was <br /> I conducted in accordance with AGE's work plan dated 20 April 2000, approved PHS-EHD by the <br /> transmittal of permit 01 May 2000 <br />' The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the impact of an unauthorized release of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons on the subsurface soils and ground water <br />' The fieldwork and the report preparation are in accordance with guidelines established by the PHS- <br /> FHD and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for subsurface <br /> investigations related to leaking underground storage tank sites <br /> I l GENERAL SITE CHARACTERISTICS <br /> 1 1 1 Location <br />' The site is located in a business/agricultural area of central Tracy, California, in San Joaquin County, <br /> California The site is situated at the intersection of West 1 I`h Street and Adams Street, in an area <br /> of low topographic relief, at an elevation of approximately 18 feet above mean sea level (Figure 1) <br /> Tracy Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1976 <br /> 1 1 2 Site Description and Current Use <br />' The property is currently developed with one building that was formerly occupied by Tracy Dicier, <br /> a restaurant facility The gasoline service station also reportedly occupied the property for <br /> approximately thirty years <br /> • <br />
