Closure Summary Report <br />Former TRACY DINER <br />95 West I Vh Street, Tracy, California <br />1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />At the request of Mr. Joe Panetta, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br />Closure Summary Report (CSR) summarizing all field activities conducted at 95 West 11 th Street, <br />Tracy, California (site). This CSR was prepared in accordance with a San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) directive letter, dated 13 May 2009 (Appendix A). Based <br />on the results of subsurface investigation of the underground storage tank (UST) area at the site, it <br />is AGE's opinion no further investigative or corrective action be required for this facility. The site <br />setting is illustrated on Figure 1; prominent features on the subject property are illustrated on Figure <br />2: underground utilities at the subject property and the vicinity are illustrated on Figure 3. <br />This CSR has been prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board (CVRWQCB) - Central Valley Region guidelines (Tri -Regional Board Staff <br />Recommendations For Preliminary Investigations and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites) for <br />No Further Action Requests (Appendix B). <br />( ; 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />The former Tracy Diner is situated at the intersection of West 11 `h Street and Adams Street in a <br />business/agricultural arca of central Tracy, California. The site is located in an area of low <br />topographic relief, at an elevation of approximately 18 feet above mean sea level (MSL), as depicted <br />on the Tracy Quadrangle (7.5 -Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1976; see <br />Figure 1). The San Joaquin County Assessor's Office lists the site's boundaries as Parcel 27 on Map <br />233 in Book 130 (APN 233-130-27). <br />According to San Joaquin County Assessor's Office and the San Joaquin County Recorder's Office <br />records, a Phillips Service Station operated at the site from approximately 1956 through the early <br />1970s --- Gill's Flying A/Gill's Phillips 66 Gas (through 1969) and Art's Phillips 66 Gas (1969- <br />1970). The site address for. the former service station was historically identified as 33 West <br />11th Street. The APN is currently 233-130-27 and was formerly 233-130-24, 25 and 26; the former <br />service station has been identified on the western -most parcels 24 and 25. The eastern -most portion <br />of the property had historically operated as a restaurant, "The Diner". The site is currently a <br />commercial office building. <br />2.1. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br />A gasoline underground storage tank (UST) reportedly operated on the site for approximately <br />30 years, from 1940 tintil 1970. The UST system is assumed to have been removed after 1970, <br />Advanced GeoEnvironowntal, Inc. <br />
