HAZARDOUS WASTE AND SUBSTANCES SITES LIST <br /> CORTESE <br /> Me information presented in this report is updated to November, 1990 <br /> The California Governor's Office of Planning and Research annually publishes a listing of <br /> potential and confirmed hazardous waste sites throughout the State of California under <br />' Government Code Section 65962 5 Thus database currently contains approximately 6,000 <br /> entries in the state of California This list is based on input from the following agencies <br /> 11 DHS1 Records that have been compiled by the 4) DHSS Sites pursuant to Section 25356 of the Health <br /> Toxic Substances Control Division of the and Safety Code (sites included under the Hazardous <br /> Department of Health Services This code Substance Cleanup Bond Act) <br /> indicates abandoned hazardous waste sites <br />' 21 DHS2 Records that have been compiled by the 5) WRCH Records compiled by the Water Resources <br /> Environmental Health Division of the Department Control Board These are sites of reported leaks that <br /> of Health Services This code indicates have been investigated by the WRCB Leak sites do <br /> contaminated public water drinking wells that not necessarily lie within incorporated boundaries of <br /> serve less than 200 connections ('small wells") listed cafes <br /> 3) DHS3 Records that have been compiled by the <br /> Environmental Health Division of the Department 61 CWMS Records compiled by the California Integrated <br /> of Health Services and consist of contaminated Waste Management Board These are solid waste <br /> public water drinking wells that serve more than disposal facilities from which there is a known <br /> 200 connections ("large wells ► migration of hazardous waste <br /> FLAP <br /> Ib <br /> NO.
