The report contains a brief site history,
a summary of the preliminary investigation conducted February 21 through February
22, 1996, and a request for site closure based upon current site data.
i
In order to evaluate the site for closure, PHS/EHD requires a closure report which will`
contain all data from the UST removal through the preliminary investigation, planar
representations of the soil plumes, cross sectional representations of the soil plumes
showing boring locations and soil lithology, a rationale for closure explaining why site
closure is protective of groundwater, and a mass balance calculation of the
contamination. After PHS/EHD has completed review of the closure report, site
closure may be issued or additional investigation may be required.
I
For further information, please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
j Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Jev n , enior REHS Marg ret Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Lead Senior
SS
cc: SWRCB - Underground Storage Tank Section - Annabel Mackey
cc: CVRWQCB - James Brathovde
CC' Enviros - Joe Neely
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
i
