(Cambria)prepared this work plan on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC to investigate extent of gasoline constituents in soil and groundwater beneath the <br /> above referenced site as requested in San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental <br /> Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) correspondence dated. July 5; 2001. The scope of work <br /> presented in this work plan will comply with SJCPHS/EHD and Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB)guidelines. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The subject property is an operating Shell-branded service station located at <br /> 4315 Waterloo Road in a commercial area of Stockton, California (Figure 1). The station layout <br /> includes two double-walled fiberglass underground storage tanks (USTs), two dispenser islands, <br /> a service station building, and a car wash(Figure 2). <br /> Previous Investigations: During December 1994, four single-walled steel .USTs (two 5,000- <br /> gallon, one 8,000-gallon, and one 7,000-gallon) and associated product piping were removed. <br /> Oakland, C A Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil samples collected from the former UST <br /> San Ramon, CA excavation. Over-excavation was performed and additional soil.samples were collected. One <br /> Sonoma, CA <br /> soil sample collected from the excavation sidewall at 14 feet below grade (fbg) contained 380 <br /> cambria parts per million (ppm) total purgeable petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg). Two soil <br /> Environmental samples collected at depths of 4.5 and 6 fbg from the dispenser island areas contained 1,600 and <br /> Technology,Inc. 1,700 ppm TPHg.
