INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' At the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report for 3230 North West Lane(the site), Stockton, California <br /> The report documents procedures and results for subsurface investigation conducted at the site <br />' during June 2000 (second quarter) The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br />' The objective of the second quarter investigation was to characterize, assess and monitor <br /> concentrations of adsorbed and dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons In soil and ground water and to <br /> characterize ground water flow direction and gradient at the site This report was prepared in <br />' accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and by the Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region(RWQCB-CVR) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' A summary of previous investigations conducted at the site was included in the Preliminary <br /> Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 11 November 1999, prepared by AGE <br />' The following is a brief summary of second quarter site assessment activities performed <br /> • 05 and 06 June 2000-Advancement of one soil boring(P-7) and installation of three ground <br />' water monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3) <br /> • 09 June 2000 - Well development activities at MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 <br /> I • 16 June 2000 - Quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling event at wells MW-1, <br /> MW-2 and MW-3 <br /> I <br /> 2.0. DRILLING PROCEDURES <br /> I On 05 and 06 June 2000 soil boring P-7 and soil bonrigs/m mtnn <br /> g wells MW-1, MW-2 and <br /> MW-3 were installed on-site, on 16 June 2000, ground water monitoring and sampling were <br /> performed on each newly installed well Ground water monitoring procedures for the site were <br /> outlined in Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan - February 2000, dated 01 February 2000, <br /> prepared by AGE and approved by the PHS-EHD by letter dated 16 February 2000 <br /> I <br /> Advanced Geo Envoronmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
