The owner then stated that they only allowed the animal onto the premises because the owner of the small dog
stated the dog is a service dog. I gave the owner a copy of the California Retail Food Code, Section 113903 which defines
what a service animal properly is and how to address an individual who states they have a service animal. I also advised the
owner to inform his customer that if the animal is a service animal, the animal shall behave accordingly and not be touched
while the consumer is shopping, due to possible cross contamination. Owner stated printing out copies of the retail food code
to address customers if necessary and also will place one at the entrance to advise customers beforehand.
Observed no violations at this time.
Official inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title: kevin trimlett, president
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)468-0337
FA0024382 C00051348 SCO04 12/23/2019
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
