Heating Coils[40 CFR§112.8(c)(7)] <br /> This section is not applicable since there are no ASTs equipped with heating coils at this <br /> facility. <br /> 4.2.8. Overfill Prevention Systems[40 CFR§112.8(c)(8)] <br /> All ASTs are equipped with a direct-reading level gauge.ASTs equipped with liquid level <br /> sensing devices are tested on a monthly basis during the monthly facility inspection, <br /> following manufacturer recommendations. Venting capacity is suitable for fill and <br /> withdrawal rates. <br /> The emergency shut off switch is clearly marked and visible with appropriate location <br /> signs. <br /> Facility personnel are present throughout the filling operations to monitor the product level <br /> in the tanks. <br /> General secondary containment is provided in the event of overfills,as described in this <br /> SPCCP.Storage drums are not refilled,and therefore overfill prevention systems do not <br /> apply. <br /> 4.2.9.Effluent Treatment Facilities[40 CFR§112.8(c)(9)] <br /> Due to the contingencies provided for discharge control,the Facility has an exemption <br /> from filing a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System(NPDES)permit since no <br /> storm water is discharged to navigable waters.Additionally,grab stormwater samples <br /> are not collected. <br /> 4.2.10.Visible Discharges[40 CFR§112.8(c)(10)] <br /> Visible discharges from any container or appurtenance — including seams, gaskets, <br /> piping, pumps, valves, rivets, and bolts—are quickly corrected upon discovery.
