5. Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or <br /> work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the <br /> work site who possesses all of the following: <br /> a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, <br /> and <br /> b. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International <br /> Code Council (ICC), and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br /> being installed. <br /> 6. Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), complete and submit a <br /> "UST Certification of Installation/Modification" form for the penetration fittings installed <br /> within 30 days. <br /> 7. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br /> 8. Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
