Executive Summary
6425 Pacific Ave, Stockton.
This site is a former EXXON service station. EXXON removed the dispensers and all fluids from
the piping and the UST's when they vacated the property in July 1998.
Prestige Oil plans to upgrade the product dispensing system and re-open the site. It is anticipated
that no contaminated soil will be discovered. If contaminated soil is discovered, this soil will be
removed, sampled for disposal and covered with plastic liner. The soil will then be removed from
the site within 3 to 4 weeks, to an acceptable landfill for disposal.
The excavations will be backfilled to the surface shortly after removal of any contaminated soil and
the upgrading Wthe product dispensing system has been completed.
The site currently is secured from the general public with asix-foot high security fence. No
unauthorized persons will be allowed to enter the site during piping removal and excavating and
until the excavations have been backfilled. During excavation and upgrading of the product
dispensing system and contaminated soils, slight petroleum odors and dust may be generated. The
site will be screened with gas detectors and visually for dust to insure that the general public is not
exposed. If dust and odors become a nuisance, the excavation procedures will be slowed and a
water mist may be used for control.
f
Upon completion of the underground tank system upgrade, this site will return to an operating gas
station, open to the public.
I
i
1
n
(w
I
i
