PHS/EHD has the following comments for your consideration.
PHS/EHD agrees that additional monitoring wells are necessary to define the boundaries
of groundwater contamination. The work plan proposed the installation of two
downgradient monitoring wells to be located on the properties of 6404 Pacific Ave and
6436 Pacific Ave.
Please proceed with efforts to obtain encroachment agreements from the property
owners. Field work may begin after issuance of PHS/EHD well permits.
If you have any questions, please contact Mary Meays, REHS, at (209) 468-0337.
Jogi Khanna, M.D., M.P.H.
HealtLO
urie A Cotulla, REHS, Program Manager
nvironmentai Health Division
LAC/MM:lb
c: Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB c: George Converse, WEGE
c: Lincoln Properties c: Exxon Corporation
A Division of San Joaquin Counry Health(me Services
