OEM
5.0 GROUND WATER TREATMENT
Ground water contaminated with gasoline range hydrocarbons is
found beneath the site at approximately the 40.0 to 45.0 foot
depth. initial recovery/treatment of this ground water will be
from monitor wells MW1 and MW3 at a combined pump rate of 2000
gallons a day during the initial start up of the treatment system.
The pumping will be accomplished using down hole air-jet pumps
(gasoline rated) to rscover and transport ground water to a sealed
tank (vented to the incinerator) and then into
sediment collection
the 11000 gallon "Ctanault" that will be converted into a air
the
stripper tank for the start up test of the system.
