OEM 5.0 GROUND WATER TREATMENT Ground water contaminated with gasoline range hydrocarbons is found beneath the site at approximately the 40.0 to 45.0 foot depth. initial recovery/treatment of this ground water will be from monitor wells MW1 and MW3 at a combined pump rate of 2000 gallons a day during the initial start up of the treatment system. The pumping will be accomplished using down hole air-jet pumps (gasoline rated) to rscover and transport ground water to a sealed tank (vented to the incinerator) and then into sediment collection the 11000 gallon "Ctanault" that will be converted into a air the stripper tank for the start up test of the system. If the air ful in reducing the levels in the stripper tank proves unsuccess treated ground water for discharge to sewer then for polishing, activated charcoal tub scrubs will be used (2 55 gallon in series) .
