Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> Drat Mi Williams <br /> This letter is the Update Status Report for tine month of September 2000 (#60) concerning the <br /> above wastewater discharge permit <br /> SPILL PREVENTION PLAN <br /> As requiied by the Wastewater Discharge Permit for this site, a spill prevention plan has been <br /> prepared <br /> The waste stream is treated gioundwatcr condensate produced from the vapor extraction of monitor <br /> wells MW 1, M W2, MW3, and MW 10, and the purged water produced during the quartet ly ground <br /> water sampling of all the wells associated with this site <br /> Lawrence lank Testing's (LTT) vacuum pump service used their vacuum pump to pull the water <br /> Isom MWS and MW12, through dedicated one inch Sell 40 PVC pipes, into a 100 gallon stainless <br /> steel tank <br /> This water is then transferred to the "ConVault" for treatment by "tank aeration", with the vapor <br /> destruction a"omplished using air stripping LTT has stopped (August 1993) purging monitor <br /> wells MW1, MW2, MW3 and MW10 The vapor extraction system has been temporarily turned <br /> off awaiting the San Joaquin County Health decision for no further action at tills site Condensate <br /> water produced from the vapor extraction system is placed into the "ConVault" for vacuum <br /> stripping ticatment <br /> The "ConVault" tank is a double contained steel tank shrouded in concrete The treatment of the <br /> groundwater occurs in batches After treatment the water is then dumped from the treatment tank, <br />• via the cciitt ilugal pump, through a totalizer water meter The water is then passed through a <br /> chamber containing an LEL meter relay calibrated to shut off the system if vapors from the effluent <br /> R-603 W WH60 9/25/00 <br />
