FEB 2 Y zo�r <br /> January 4, 2001 'NVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Mr John Margowski <br /> Wickland Properties <br /> P O Box 13648 <br /> Sacramento, California 95853-4648 <br /> (916) 978-2485, FAX (916) 978-2428 <br /> RE Update Status Report #56, December 2000 Sample Report for former Regal Station 4603, <br /> 6425 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> f <br /> Dear Mr Margowski <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This update, STATUS REPORT #56, presents data I'collected from December 12 - 15, 2000 and <br /> includes the W A Craig, Inc UST Removal Sampling Report as Appendix A <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> Former Regal Station #603, was until July 1998 an operating EXXON service station located at 6425 <br /> Pacific Avenue at the northwest corner of Pacific Avenue and Douglas Road, Stockton, in San <br /> Joaquin County, California The site lies in section 21, T2N, R6E, MDB&M at approximately 12 <br /> feet above mean sea level (MSL), see Figures I, 2 and 3 The parcel is #31 and is recorded in <br /> Assessor's Book 97 <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Depths to groundwater measurements were obtained from all monitor wells associated with this site <br /> (MWI, MW2, MW3, MWS, MW6, MW7, MW8, MW9, MW10, MW12 and MW13) on December <br /> 12, 2000 MW4 was not accessible, it was buried under stockpiled soil, and MWI1 contained a <br /> blockage The blockage was removed (plastic bag containing concrete) and this well was sampled <br /> on December 15, 2000 The vapor extraction-air sparginu system had previously been turned off on <br /> December 19, 1998, no vacuum influence was measured, see Appendix B — Field Notes and <br /> Methods and Procedures Figure 4 represents the groundwater gradient obtained from <br /> measurements obtained on December 12, 2000 and shows a groundwater high at MW2 with <br /> localized gradient flowing to the east and northeast Currently (since May 1998) the tops of the well <br /> scieens are below the top of groundwater The contact between the bottom of silty clay and the top <br /> of the aquifer sand is within the screen interval assuring that the groundwater samples are <br /> representative of the aquifer conditions <br /> 5 <br /> R603 Update 456 12/2000 <br />
