wells after Lincoln Center voiced
concerns that this activity could
spread the plume to Wickland
Properties .
December 22, 1993 Vapor extraction system was off
upon arrival of WEGE technician.
Concurrently San Joaquin County
PHS/EHD staff conducting field
inspection, indicated that the VES
was to remain off due to the
Lincoln Center problem. System was
not restarted.
December 30, 1993 Date of letter from San Joaquin
County PHS/EHD clarifying that the
communications between PHS/EHD
staff and WEGE technician was
misconstrued and at our earliest
convenience, please re-start the
VES and in fact, the previous
periodic ground water extraction
was controlling the migration of
the plume and the vapor extraction
is decreasing the amount of
hydrocarbons available to leach
into groundwater
February 18 , 1994 Date of letter from San Joaquin
County PHS/EHD recommending we
conduct a pump test and conduct
additional analytical analysis (EPA
Method 601) on wells closest to the
Lincoln Property plume
If you should have any questions, please call (916) 668--5300 .
Sincerely yours,
George L Converse
Project Manager
7
