Wade Jopl Khanna, M.D., M.P.H., District Health Officer San Joaquin County <br /> Mary Anna Love San Joaquin County <br /> Facility Name <br /> Address <br /> Date of Inspection -Z/ InspectorUgI ��� 5� <br /> MONITORING ALTERNATIVE ,#7 <br /> Limited to underground storage tanks which have infrequent inputs and withdrawals and <br /> where the liqui(: level in the tank can be measured to an accuracy of +5 gallons or less <br /> when the tank is half full . <br /> This monitoring alternative shall include: <br /> Annual precision test on tank and piping. <br /> Tank gauging performed as follows: <br /> Tank must be capable of being secured to prevent unauthorized inputs and <br /> withdrawals. <br /> Tank must have no inputs or withdrawals for at least a 48 hour period <br /> (.2 days) at the end of consecutive periods lasting up to 7 days. <br /> (For example: tank in use Monday through Friday, then locked <br /> over weekend) . <br /> Liquid level measurements are taken at the beginning and end of the <br /> monitoring period (lasting at least 48 hours). <br /> (For example: level measured and recorded Friday night before <br /> locking and again on Monday morning before opening. ) <br /> ` If liquid level varies more than 1% of the tank volume or 5 gallons, which <br /> ever is less, between measurements, an unauthorized release shall be <br /> assumed to have occurred and shall be reported to the local agency within <br /> 24 hours, as per Article 5, Sect: 2652 of the regulations and further <br /> evaluations shall be performed to verify or disprove the variations. <br /> Implementation of the monitoring alternative requires that the following circled items be <br /> completed by the dates specified. <br /> 1 Precision test(s) must be performed by /�,(� and results submitted to this <br /> office within 30 days of the test. <br /> ,2a Tank gauging must be started immediately.
