Simplot Grower Solutions—4863 Carpenter,Stockton CA Date: September 2019 <br /> SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND COUNTERMEASURE PLAN Page: 3 <br /> CHAPTER 2-FACILITY DESCRIPTION <br /> The facility is an agricultural chemical storage and distribution center located in San Joaquin <br /> County at 4863 Carpenter, Stockton CA 95213 (see Figure 1 for a site location map). The facility <br /> spans approximately 11 acres and is surrounded by industrial properties to the north, west and <br /> south, and residential and orchards to the east. The site contains the following: <br /> • Fertilizer tank farm(no oil storage) <br /> • Two chemical tank farms (Tanks 1-5 and 7-13) <br /> • Tote storage area <br /> • Two warehouses <br /> • Maintenance shop <br /> • Office <br /> Approximately one quarter of the facility's ground surface area is paved with asphalt. The <br /> remainder of the facility is undeveloped and consists of compacted soil, grass, and low-lying <br /> vegetation. Figure 2 presents a facility diagram indicating the locations of buildings and oil <br /> storage. <br /> 2.1 Oil Storage Locations <br /> Most oil storage at the facility is located at the chemical tank farm area on the west side of the <br /> -� facility.No oil products in 55-gallon or greater containers are stored inside the fertilizer tank <br /> farm or maintenance shop. The facility does not have underground storage tanks used for oil <br /> storage and the transformer located at the fertilizer tank farm is owned and operated by Pacific <br /> Gas &Electric Company.
