Dear Mr. Mersaroli: This letter presents RESNA Industries groundwater monitoring and sampling results for the above referenced facility. On March 26, 1992 RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater depths and collected groundwater samples from each monitoring well on site, T-1, T-2, and T-3 (Attachment 1). Water level measurements were collected from each monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101). A summary of monitoring data is included as Table 1. Groundwater elevations ranged from 39.53 to 39.73 feet. A groundwater gradient map was created using data collected on March 26, 1992 (Figure 1). According to this information, the gradient flows to the north at approximately 0.002 feet/feet or 11 feet/mile. Prior to sampling, 3 to 5 well volumes of water was purged from each well. The samples were collected using a dedicated, disposable bailer. The samples were submitted to state-certified RESNA Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California. The samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) using EPA method 8020, and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) using modified EPA method 8015. All purged water was containerized in DOT approved drums and left on site pending laboratory analyses. Laboratory analysis indicates nondetectable concentrations for all constituents tested.
