Hydrocarbon fuels - Components of fuels are colorless liquids <br /> with strong aromatic petroleum hydrocarbon-like odors. They are <br /> flammable and have low solubility in water. Exposure to these <br /> materials in excess of recommended exposure limits can cause mild <br /> eye, nose, and throat irritation and can produce a narcotic effect <br /> on the central nervous system. Symptoms of exposure at these <br /> concentrations include headache, nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, and <br /> loss of coordination. Certain components of gasoline (BTE&X etc. ) <br /> are known or suspected carcinogens. <br /> The following additional hazards are expected on site: typical work <br /> related to facility. Noise. falling rods, flying hammer, snapped <br /> cables, etc, on' the drill rig. <br /> E.
