INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr William Stewart,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) " <br /> has prepared this Quarterly Report for the property located at 515 West Eleventh Street, Tracy, <br /> California Mr Stewart is the former owner of Bill's Bait and Beacon, which operated at the site <br /> until 1988 <br /> The scope of work included monitoring and sampling four ground water monitoring wells at the site, <br /> obtaining specified laboratory analyses of the samples, and preparation of this report The location <br /> of the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1 - Localion Map Structures and well <br /> locations are illustrated in Figure 2 - Srte Plan Site background was included in the Closure <br />' Summary Report - May 1997 prepared by AGE <br /> Monitoring was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guldellnes for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> lie <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 02 July 1997, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to water in each well <br /> relative to the top of the casing The ground water elevations and hydraulic gradient were determined <br /> from these data (Table 1) <br /> After depth to ground water measuiements, a submersible pump was used to remove-'standing water <br /> from each well ApproxlmateIN six gallons(minimum of three well volumes)of water were removed <br />' from each well Purged «atei was monitored at 1-gallon intervals for temperature, pH and <br /> conductivity using an ICM model 52200 water analyzer The monitored parameters stabilized during <br /> puiging;although conductiN i1N varied slightly during the purge of MW-3 <br /> All purging equipment was decontaminated by being washed in an Alconox solution and rinsed in <br /> water prior to purging"each- well Purged water was stordd in 55-gallon drums on-site <br /> 1' Physicochemical data and field logs are Included in Appendix A <br /> 1 <br /> Advanced GcoEmironmcnial,Inc <br /> y <br />
