INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr William Stewart,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this Interim Work Plan for the installation of four"direct push" penetrations at 515 West <br /> 11th Street in Tracy, California (Figure 2 - Site Plan) <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) is <br /> requiring further investigation of the site to determine the lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted <br /> soil AGE proposes to install four soil probings Probing B-5 will be placed near the northwest corner <br /> of the canopy, probing B-6 will be placed near the southwest corner of the building, probing B-7 will <br /> • be placed north of MW-1, probing B-8 will placed west of the former excavation If access can be <br /> obtained, probing B-8 may be placed on the property west of the site near the northwest corner of <br /> the former excavation The probings will be advanced to depths of approximately 15 feet <br /> 3.0. PROCEDURES <br /> 3 1 SOIL PROBING INSTALLATION AND SAMPLING <br /> For the installation of soil probings, the following procedures will be performed <br /> 1) Notify the San Joaquin County Environmental Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) 48 hours prior to commencement of any work <br /> 2) Install three probings, using van-mounted, 1125-inch diameter probe rods to depths of <br /> approximately 15 feet The boring locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> 3) Decontanunate sampling equipment in an Alconox solution and rinse twice with water prior <br /> to each sampling run <br /> 4) Obtain continuous core soil samples using Geoprobe soil sampler loaded with 1 125-inch by <br /> 6-inch brass sleeves <br /> • <br />
