Due to the cost and feasibility of groundwater treatment systems, the need for the
implementation of one at this site should be based on the threat this plume poses to human health and to
the future drinking water supplies of the City of Tracy. The wells at this site must provide sufficient data so
that all parties of concern can make this ultimate decision. Some discussion with the City of Tracy
Municipal Utilities Department should be initiated so that their input is considered during this process.
Please submit completed well permit applications and the associated $89.00 fee to this department for
issuance.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss this letter in more detail, please contact Linda Turkatte, i
Senior REHS, at(209) 468-3441.
Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Division
J
Linda A.
