The plan is a
proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances (soil over-excavation and removal),
which has contaminated the site from an unauthorized release associated with the UST
system previously located on the property.
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Local UST Oversight Program,
has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with Local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not create significant adverse
environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the
contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at EHD, 304 E. Weber Street,
Third Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If a
written request by any member of the public is not received at EHD by 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 5, 2003, the tentative decision shall become final on that
date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to EHD at 304 E.
