2.0 Chemical Analysis and Results
Two(2) soil samples were collected from the stockpiled well destruction soil cuttings for analysis at Mff
Analytical, Inc., certified analytical laboratory. The soil samples were composited by the laboratory.
Samples were tested as follows:Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline(TPHG)and Diesel (TPHD),
and Total Lead using EPA Methods 8015m, 8260B and 6010B. The laboratory analyzed samples on a
"normal"turnaround basis and the analytical report is attached.
The chemical analysis results of the well destruction soil show that TPHG was not detected at <1
milligram per kilogram (Mg/kg), TPHD was detected at 10 Mg/kg and Lead was detected at 5.7 Mg/kg.
These results are below the current Regional Water Quality Control Board Environmental Screening
Levels(Nov.2007,updated May 2008 interim draft version,Table A shallow soil <i meters,groundwater
is a possible source of drinking water)for TPHG at 83Mg/kg,TPHD at 83 Mg/kg and Lead at 200 Mg/kg.
Wright has spread approximately one(1) cubic yard of well destruction soil onsite, in planted landscape
areas along the east property line as indicted on Figure 1. The concrete, steel and plastic well materials
were disposed at Tracy Material Recovery where they were recycled(see attached receipt/weight ficket).
3.0 State Well Completion Reports
Stale Well Completion Reports were completed for each monitoring well destruction (see attached
Reports). ff you have any questions, please call or write.
Sincerely,
Wright Environmental Services,Inc.
