Chronology v Page 3 <br /> 595 E. 11`h Street, Tracy <br /> 12/19/01 The date of the EHD letter response to Proposed Cleanup Approach that <br /> requires field test data to support the feasibility of the remedial <br /> alternatives evaluated prior to approving any corrective action plan. <br /> 04/03/03 The date the EHD received Wright Environmental's Corrective Action Plan <br /> (CAP) dated March 27, 2003, that selects injection of biological material <br /> into the soil and groundwater. <br /> 04/30/03 The date of the EHD letter response to the CAP that advises that the <br /> Regional Board requires a report of waste discharge for injection of <br /> biologicals and requests supporting documentation that this method has <br /> received regulatory approval for its use and has had satisfactory results. <br /> 10/03/03 Date that Wright Environmental submits a work plan to excavate soil in <br /> the areas of MW3 and MW9 since they were unable to support the use of <br /> biologicals at the site. <br /> 10/17/03 The date of the EHD letter approving Interim Corrective Action <br /> (excavation) at the site and requires MW3 and MW9 to be destroyed prior <br /> to excavation and replaced after excavation. <br /> 10/27/03 Public Participation initiated this date for the proposed corrective action. <br /> 01/13/04 Monitoring wells MW3 and MW9 were destroyed this date. <br /> 02/11/04 Excavation and removal of contaminated soil began this date. Discolored <br /> and highly odorous soil was removed up to the mobile homes and the old <br /> irrigation pipe. Some obviously contaminated soil could not be reached or <br /> was unsafe to remove. <br /> 10/10/04 Replacement wells, MW3R and MW9R, were installed on this date. <br /> 11/22/04 The date the EHD received Wright Environmental's Soil Excavation and <br /> Disposal Report dated October 29, 2004. Twenty nine (29) excavation <br /> soil samples were analyzed, six excavation water samples were analyzed, <br /> 900 cubic yards of soil were removed and disposed offsite, and 239,250 <br /> gallons of water were extracted and disposed to the City of Tracy sewer. <br /> It was calculated that 787 gallons of TPHg and 4.1 gallons of benzene <br /> was contained in the soil removed and that 2.3 gallons of TPHg and 0.21 <br /> gallons of benzene was in the ground water removed. <br /> 02/08/07 The date the EHD received Wright Environmental's Work Plan for Soil <br /> Vapor Sampling dated November 17, 2006. <br />
