(Wright) has prepared this workplan for the above
referenced site. The proposed work is in response to a letter dated September 23, 2008 from the
San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Division (EHD) discussed during the meeting of
September 15, 2008 for additional site assessment. This work is part of the No Further Action
Report (NFAR) process that Wright has started for this site. Data collected will be appended to
the original NFAR Report along with other information requested by EHD. Wright has prepared
this brief work plan at the request of EHD for this work.
This work is being done to address issues recently presented by EHD concerning residual
contaminants on-site, specifically the directive to collect one groundwater sample in the
immediate down-gradient vicinity of Well MW-2 in the lower portion of the aquifer (about 26-
to 30-feetideep). A second issue is the concern regarding another on-site source of contaminants.
Wright will review data and collect additional groundwater samples in the lower portion of the
aquifer(about 26-to 30-feet deep)near MW-6.
l
These redrew and sampling tasks are proposed to address this issue that Wright feels should
move the site to"closure" through the NFAR process already started.
1.0 Scope of Work
The technical approach to this project is to build upon the previous work for the NFAR process
and our meeting with EHD representatives. Since these issues have direct bearing on the NFAR,
Wright's approach to this work is to conduct the additional work tasks and discuss the results and
review with EHD prior to revising or submitting more information for the NFAR report.
