(Ground Zero) has prepared this;,11workplan to destroy groundwater <br /> monitoring wells MWI through MW3 at the subject site in response to the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board letter requesting site closure dated August 2, 2004. The site is located <br /> " <br /> at 612 West Eleventh Street in n Figure 1.Tracy, California, and is shown o <br /> WORKPLAN <br /> V&W Drilling (C57 License #720904) will destroy wells i�MWI through MW3 under the <br /> supervision of a Ground Zero geologist. Monitoring wells MW I'; MW2 and MW3 will be destroyed <br /> by overdrilling with 8-inch diameter hollow stem augers to total.idepth of 25 feet. The borings will <br /> then be backfilled to the surface with neat cement grout emplaced with a tremic pipe system. The <br /> drill cuttings will be placed in approximately four 55-gallon drums to be disposed of by V&W <br /> Drilling. Figure 2 shows the locations of site wells. Attachment.,}A contains copies of well logs. <br /> Protocols and Safety <br /> All field activities performed at the site will be conducted in accordance with Ground Zero's Quality <br /> Assurance/Quality Control Plan and Site Specific Site Safety Plan�on file with EHD. <br /> Permitting <br /> A well destruction permit will be obtained from San Joaq' <br /> in County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD) and prior to conducting the field work. <br />
