GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. <br /> 1714 Main street <br /> Escalon, California 95320 <br /> Telephone (209)838-9888 <br /> Facsimile (209)838-9883 <br /> August 23, 2002 <br /> Mr Margaret Lagorio <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Souza II, LLC, 612 West 11�' Street, Tracy, California <br /> Site Code 0001283 <br /> Dear Ms Lagono <br /> • Ground Zero Analysis, Inc (Ground Zero) submits this letter report on behalf of Souza II, LLC to <br /> summarize the results of the sensitive receptor survey conducted within 2000 feet of the subject <br /> site (Figure 1) The work was conducted at the request of San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) <br /> On July 26, 2002, field reconnaissance was performed in order to identify and confirm the <br /> locations of potential sensitive receptors, including water supply wells, surface-water bodies, <br /> hospitals, churches, and schools, within a 2000-foot radius of the subject site Identified water <br /> supplies wells and potential cultural receptors within the search radius are summarized in Tables I <br /> and 2 The locations of potential sensitive receptors are shown on Figure 2 Well logs obtained <br /> by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) are included in Attachment A Results <br /> of the sensitive receptor survey are summarized below <br /> Water Supply Wells <br /> Based on information obtained from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), City <br /> of Tracy personnel, and a physical reconnaissance of the area, two active water supply wells, <br /> three destroyed water supply wells, and four wells whose status are unknown were located within <br /> 2,000 feet of the subject site Based upon the documented groundwater flow direction beneath <br /> the site (to the northeast), neither of the active wells are located downgradient of the subject site <br /> In addition, none of the "unknown" wells are located downgradient of the site None of the <br /> .
