Wang
Diamond Properties, Inc.
2546 Derby Drive
San Ramon, CA 94583
DIAMOND PROPERTIES SITE, 825 WEST 11TH STREET, TRACY, SITE INVESTIGATION
REPORT
We have reviewed the 11 January 1989 "Report of Site Investigation" prepared
by your consultant Brown & Caldwell Consulting Engineers for this site. The
investigation included the drilling and sampling of six soil borings and the
installation and sampling of ground water monitoring wells in three of the
boreholes. Hydrocarbon contamination was detected in soil and ground water
on-site.
We agree with the consultant's conclusions that the extent of soil and ground
water contamination have not yet been adequately defined. Therefore, we
request that you submit a work plan for additional investigation to identify
the extent of hydrocarbon contamination in soil and ground water.
Please submit the requested work plan by 20 October 1989. I have enclosed a
copy of our Tri-Regional Board Recommendations and Appendix A, the Reporting
Requirements for your use. If you have any questions, please call me at (916)
361-5731.
THOMAS D.
