Beamer Street <br /> Woodland, CA 95695-9603 <br /> RE: Desert Petroleum #787 <br /> Tracy, (.alifornia <br /> Dear George: <br /> The following information is provided to assist in the closure of <br /> the subject site as required by the CVRWQCB. <br /> 1) The former underground storage tanks consisted of three tanks, <br /> one 101000 gallon, one 7,500 gallon, and one 5,000 gallon <br /> capacity: All: tanks .were 1/4" single walled carbon steel. <br /> Storage did not have secondary containment or cathodic <br /> Protection. The age of the tanks is unknown, but upon removal <br /> appeared to be in good condition. The current and past <br /> material stored was motor fuel gasoline. . No unauthorized <br /> product releases were detected. (A Plot plan of the former <br /> - storage tanks is attached.) <br /> r 2) Attached is a <br /> quarterly inventory summary report submitted <br /> r to the county agency for the quarter just prior to the tank <br /> removal. No other inventories are .available at this time. No <br /> releases were noted and it is believed that the contamination <br /> occurred from a long period of historical overspill when <br /> Product was delivered. <br /> i 3) Attached is a report of a precision tank test prior to tank <br /> E removal, which reflects that the system was certified at the <br /> time of testing.
