The May <br /> 23, 1990, sampling of the wells found the ground water to be below <br /> the detection limits, see Table 2. <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> 1. Benzene is below detection limits for all wells (MW1, MW2 <br /> and MW3) . <br /> 2. Over excavation of the tank field and waste oil tank area <br /> removed the contaminated soil. <br /> 3. The limited ground water contamination found beneath the <br /> tank field and at monitor well MW1 was remediated by. <br /> evaporation and/or dilution. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> 1. Based upon the above conclusions this site should be <br /> ' considered as "closed" for Desert Petroleum Inc. <br /> 2.
