i
WESTERN GED-ENGINEERS
SECTION 9.0
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon chemical data and field observations, soil contamination has been `
elleviated during the excavation of soil during tank removal and re-excavation prior
to tank placement and station reconst 'uction. Minor dissolved, gasoline range,
ground water contamination exists near the new fuel tank area and the northwest
corner of the station property. The ground water contamination exists In a shallow
aquifer that is not being used at the present and probably its only use would be for
Irrigation or industrial purposes. At the present time Western Geo-Engineers is
monitoring the three wells on site.
It is recommended that:
1. A monitoring program be implemented for TPH/BTEX.
;i 2. Copies of this report should be forwarded to the
San Joaquin Local Health Dept. and RW QCS as soon
as possible.
J.-
I
I
i
I
I
page 40
1
E
