The samples were obtained on May 5-5, 1988 <br /> and were collected by driving a modified california spilt spoon with clean <br /> 2" X E" brass sleeves into undisturbed native soil (advanced <br /> s am cleaned) <br /> to <br /> ( hotovac <br /> with a <br /> through the hollow stem auger). The samples were field screened t p <br /> "Tip" PID detector calibrated with 1 ppm benzene that day, then the ends of <br /> the sleeves were capped no headspace (teflon plastic caps) wrapped in aluminum <br /> foil, tapped (duct tape) , labeled, placed in zip lock bags, and cooled to 4°C <br /> (ice chest) then delivered with chain of custody to Eureka Laboratory. j <br /> I <br /> I <br /> .i <br /> I <br /> I� <br /> R <br /> f <br />
