The <br /> savples were collected under the supervision of a San Joaquin Local Health <br /> Inspector. All water samples were obtained from the water entering hale <br /> excavation using a previously cleaned (steam clean) plastic PVC bucket bailer <br /> attached to a nylon rope. The collected water was then slowly drained into <br /> a EPA protocol cleaned series 200 1 1 "Boston Round" amber glass bottle with <br /> teflon caps and 2 series 40cc "VOA" inial glass with teflon caps and no <br /> headspace, labeledand cooled to 4°C (ire chest) delivered with chain of custody <br /> to Eureka Laboratory. All soil samples were collected by backhoe sampling <br /> fresh surface, and packing-driving a previously clean (steam clean) 211 X611 <br /> `~rf brass sleeve into the collected soil, capping the ends (no headspace) with <br /> teflon caps, wrapping the sleeves in aluminum foil, duct tape, labeled <br /> and cooled to 4°C (ice chest) then delivered with chain of custody to <br /> (Eureka Laboratory (see appendix J, figure. 4H, and table 2 & 3). <br /> i� <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br />
