A Tosco approved <br /> contractor will-be responsible for all construction activities associated with dispenser <br /> upgrade activities. Construction activities are tentatively scheduled to begin during the <br /> week of February 8, 1999. The purpose of this Work Plan is to notify the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) of the upcoming dispenser <br /> upgrade activities and briefly discuss the compliance soil sampling procedures to be <br /> followed. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 950 11"' Street in Tracy, California. The site is an operating <br /> (Former Circle K) service station and mini-mart that retails gasoline fuel. The site <br /> currently contains three gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) and associated <br /> product lines and dispensers. f <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK f <br /> Gasoline dispenser upgrade activities at the site will be performed by a Tosco-approved <br /> contractor scheduled during the second week of February 1999. Soil compliance <br /> samples will be collected from below each dispenser per the Tri Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and investigation of Underground Tank <br /> Sites.
